What is Shivratri?
Maha Shivratri is one of the most sacred festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva. It falls on the 14th night (Chaturdashi) of the dark fortnight in the month of Phalguna (Feb–March),known as Wedding day (Anniversary) of Shiv and Parvathi.

Types of Shivratri Fasting
Nirjala Fast – No food, no water (⚠️ not advised for most people)
Phalahar Fast – Fruits, milk, nuts allowed
Saatvik Light Fast – One light meal (vrat foods)
Intermittent-style fast – Timed eating window + hydration
