Lungs (PUL-muh-NAYR-ee)
One of the two main organs of the Respiratory System, Lungs supply the body with Oxygen needed for aerobic metabolism and eliminate the waste produce called Co2.
Being Born in a Chain Smokers family member (though none used to smoke when I'm (Family Members) around except my grandpa),which cause and caused them towards their health issues and demising at later years.
Smoking and Alcohol were and used to be Style Manners, which generally used to get habituated at early teens or late teens.
On other hand, they do get habituated towards stress relieving to get relieve of muscle and nerves.
Geographically, climatic conditions do make to get used to Alcohol and Smoking regions like Major Snow Prone areas include the Arctic and Antarctic,the Northern Hemisphere and Alpine regions.
Alcohol is healthy if consumed in limited and respective types,RED WINE(1 portion) with 88mg of Potassium hard on your kidneys. BEER(1can) regular comes with 12.0mg of iron. (GIVEN nutrient values are from Singapore food composition guide).
Smoking is at most of the reasons a healthrisk habit to be imbibed onto lifestyle.
Would advice with most attentive towards the common disorders of Lungs are infections -
Pneumonia
Tracheaitis
Croup
Bronchitis
Bronchiolitis
which are inflammatory disorders affecting the airways within the lungs that can be complications of colds or influenza or cough leading later on stages to Lung Cancer.
Certain foods that can have negative impact on long time health issues like Asthma, COPD,Lung Diseases, regular nostril's blockage are:
- Processed and Cured Meats.
- Fried Foods that are cooked with (unhealthy oils)and reheated oil more than twice,Reduce Ground Oil / Palm Oils, increase the Goodness like Corn/Vegetable oils towards deep fries,Canola /Olive oils for small amounts and salad dressings / Tempering(Pop/Tadka/Talimpu).
-Dairy Products(Cheese/Butter) helps thickening the mucus leading to blockage of lung functions go with regular exercise.
-High sodium or Preservative food making breathing more difficult with fluid retentions.
-Highly / Excessive sugar drinks /Foods.
-Alcohol and Smoking increase the risk of pneumonia and lung infections.
-Certain Raw vegetables for Pollen Food Allergy Syndromeans. Like Carrots,Celery,Potatoes might lead to exacerbate respiratory symptoms.
Acidic Foods Citrus,Tomatoes,can trigger acid reflux and can worsen the Asthma (need research on this common point as Citric acid generally releases / thinners the mucus).
Foods Better for Lungs:
Fruits,Vegetables,Whole Grains and Lean Proteins - Double the Water Intake to Basic / Regular intake with regular fresh air (outdoor) exercises or walk through.
