Coffee Vs Tea


1 Oct been celebrated as Coffee Day internationally. 

Beverages are short time thirst cruchers, Energy providers and a Status symbols of Food Industry. 

My Grandpa Home(Shroff a Rtd.Forest ranger of Kurnool District)are Coffee consumers, they get their Filter Coffee Powder from near store where they blend and roast infront of you with your choice of color code. 

We visited a Coffee Farm to know the making(For our two kids)where we came across they grow a Luwak organically and use their dried poop to enhance the flavors and it's digestive enzymes help to increase its nutrient value and worth as expensive coffee powder onto the market. 

Recently come across a phrase,   
" Coffee is Better than Tea " How well it is true to itself. 

Traditionally both are brewed but Coffee used to come with  flavors (based on roast levels) and Tea flavors like Ginger, Cardamom,Cinnamon. Today we got countable flavors in both beverages. 

Both are Hot and Cold Beverages 
Both are Caffeine based 
Both can be consumed at any time of the Day.

Differences
1. Coffee contains more acidics like Malic acid,Citric Acid, Inositol. 

Tea contains Polyphenols, Amino Acid,GABA,Polysaccharides,Flavonoids,Vitamins and Terpenes. 

2.Coffee is measured in it's level of roasting (it is where the Luak poop is added after drying it). 
Lighter the roast higher the acidity and longer the shelf life. 

Tea is consumed as 
Green_Oolong_Yellow_White_Black_
Dark. 
All its types are safe and fibered which reduces 
Hyperlipidemia,
Hypertension,
Diabetes,
AntiCancerous,
Anti Inflammatory. 

3.Caffeine content in 
Coffee goes the highest approximately 80-185mg/cup.
Tea goes with 15-70mg/cup 

4, Coffee is not recommended during gestational days, due to its acidic caffeinated concentration leading to featus health (early gestations) during first trimester. 
Tea like Green and Black not recommended as they stop absorption of Folic Acid effect in guarding the featus. 
Given few Good and Bad of Both the beverages, decide which one suits and healthier based on your lifestyle and need. 
Being the Nutrition Healthcare Professional I opt Tea over Coffee. 

Singapore Traditional and Early hours Breakfast is Kaya Toast +Scrambled (Half Boiled) Eggs, With Black Coffee or Tea. Which is a healthier choice.
